Limited Edition Armand Zildjian Signature Ride Announced

Over 380 years ago, Avedis Zildjian crafted the first Zildjian cymbal. Now the Avedis Zildjian Company introduces a signature cymbal of the man who helped lead Zildjian into the 21st century, Armand Zildjian. Featuring the traditional finish and style of the classic A Zildjian Series, the Limited Edition Armand Ride is now available.

For 81 years, Armand Zildjian spent his life living and breathing Zildjian. He hand selected cymbals for drumming icons such as Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Elvin Jones, Louie Bellson and many more. Now offering its first ever signature series cymbal, Zildjian has re-created the cymbal that Armand hand selected for himself; a 19-inch A Zildjian Ride, which he added rivets to and kept on his own drum kit.

The Limited Edition 19-inch Armand Ride features a three-rivet cluster and Armand's favorite expression "Beautiful, Baby" printed on the cymbal below his laser engraved signature. It has a bright and musical, vintage "A sound" with focused stick definition, balanced wash and plenty of sizzle. Armand's favorite Ride sound.
