Touring Professional Drum Set Now Offered in Mapex Exclusive New Colors

Mapex Drums, the world’s leading manufacturer of drums and hardware, announced today the introduction of three new colors in the Saturn Pro series of drums. Already offered in 8 popular colors, Mapex will be adding Laser Black, Mango Burst and Laser Ivory, to its palette of color choices. The full Saturn Pro line will feature newly designed badges. Laser Black, Mango Burst and Laser Ivory drums will be available in all sizes and configurations currently offered in the Saturn Pro line.
“Our engineers have spent an extensive amount of time and effort, researching and coming up with some amazing new color options,” exclaimed Mapex Marketing Manager Jeff Ivester. “These new color choices are exclusive to Mapex Drums and will not be found on any of our competitors drums. The new Black, Mango and Ivory Saturn Pro kits will be extremely popular and look great on dealer’s show floors.”
Mapex Saturn Pro drum kits are designed for the touring professional and is the drum set of choice for many of Mapex endorsing artists. Newly signed Mapex artist Liberty Devitto plays a 7-piece Saturn Pro drum kit, a combination of Walnut and Maple shells. Herlin Riley who performs with Wynton Marsalis plays a Saturn Pro set with a jazz configuration; while country drummer Scotty Hawkins who tours with Daryl Worley also plays a Saturn Pro kit. Saturn Pro drums are a popular choice for touring musicians of any genre of music.
