The inaugural School of Bass musical workshop will take place Thursday, May 6 - Sunday, May 9, and will be headquartered at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Tempe, Ariz. The three-and-a-half day workshop features some of the most heralded bass educators in the world, including Fender® artist, Ray Riendeau (left), Ed Friedland, Steve "Dude" Barr, Harvey Brooks, Carol Chaikin, Lynne Davis, David Ellefson, Dennis Meredith, Lee Miller and Andy West.

"There's no better way to become a better bass player than to immerse yourself in all things 'bass,'" said Riendeau. "The School of Bass will provide all the necessary ingredients to do just that - become the best bassist you can be!"

The international event features hands-on instruction, pro clinics, demonstrations, nightly concerts and some of the boldest bass on the planet. Bassists of all skill levels are welcome. The event is sponsored in part by Fender and The Bass Place.
