Summer School Has Never Been This Much Fun. May 14, 2004, Los Angeles, Calif.-- On April 24, 2004 Roland and Guitar Trader---San Diego's most complete guitar specialty store--kicked off the summer season with a meet-and-greet informational event with Dave Mustaine, of Megadeth fame. More than one hundred and twenty five participants showed up to hang with the guitar hero and catch informative and inspiring guitar demonstrations performed by one of Roland's best guitar pros--Johnny DeMarco.

DeMarco showed the crowd an array of Roland and BOSS gear that included such popular items as the recently released Roland MicroCube Guitar Amp, the new GR-20 Guitar Synth, the popular and rugged ME-50 Guitar Multiple Effects and two of BOSS' twin pedal series products: the DD-20 Digital Delay and the RC-20 Loop Station. During the day participants had a chance win a Roland MicroCube amplifier.

The event is one of many hands-on user-oriented sessions that Roland will host at music retail locations across the U.S. this summer.

"The clinics are a great way to discover amazing features that you may not know about or aren't sure how to use, and if you're purchasing Roland or BOSS gear it's a great way to see a product in action before you buy," said Roland Director of Marketing and Product, Paul Youngblood. "They're also a great way to meet and network with other musicians in your area."

Roland offers sessions in Keyboards and Synths, Guitar, Digital Recording and Percussion.
