CREST PERFORMANCE CPT* MONITORS PROVIDE SMOOTH MID-RANGE(CREST | Posted 2004-07-10)  Crest Performance, a division of Crest Audio, Summer NAMM Expo booth #112, proudly introduces two new floor monitors to its CPT Series loudspeakers, the CPT M and CPT 2M. These monitors are ideal for small- to medium-sized performance venues, including houses of worship, intimate music clubs, multi-purpose rooms and any permanent installation.
The smooth mid-range offered by the CPT M and CPT 2M monitors enables better intelligibility, allowing performers to hear every sonic nuance as intended from the audio source being amplified. This is particularly imperative for loudspeakers used in voice reproduction, as the mid-range vocal region is the number one area that generates either compliments or complaints from performers and worship leaders.
Each Crest Performance CPT monitor includes one two-position terminal strip and one four-pin NeutrikŪ I/O connector in parallel; a 90* x 40* degree constant directivity horn; a 1.5" Crest HF-1 titanium compression driver; and a 13 mm dado-joined birch enclosure with a textured acrylic polyurethane exterior. CPT monitors are available in black, white or natural finishes.
