Nomad Factory Plug-Ins Now Audio Unit-Compatible

The latest in a series of solutions for computer-based recording, TASCAM has announced that Nomad Factory Blue Tubes Bundle and Rock Amp Legends have been updated with Audio Unit support. With their compatibility with Apple's Audio Unit standard, these great-sounding plug-ins are now ready to plug-and-play with Emagic Logic, MOTU Digital Performer and a list of other Mac OS X DAW applications.

Nomad Factory (www.nomadfactory.com) has two plug-in bundles compatible with Apple's Audio Units standard for Mac OS X. The Blue Tubes Bundle 2.0 recreates the warm sound of vintage tube EQs, compressors, phasers, limiters, delays, chorus and more. Rock Amp Legends, co-developed with Jimmy Crespo (guitarist with Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck), captures the classic rock tone of coveted British and American amplifiers, and adds a rack of great-sounding effects for a thick guitar sound.

TASCAM will be bundling demos of Nomad Factory plug-ins with their USB and FireWire audio interfaces and with GigaStudio.
