Clavia announces ddrum4 System SE

Clavia is proud to announce the ddrum4 System SE. The ddrum4 brain powers the System SE, but has some added some major features. The ddrum4 brain now ships with the "MegaDrum" sounds pre-loaded. The SE (Signature Edition) features the drum kits of Kenny Aronoff, Simon Phillips, Dennis Chambers and Mel Gaynor. Additional features include: Aquarian springs for the ddrum cymbals, mesh heads and rubber rim guards for the pads. For those who still want traditional drum heads, the System One will continue to ship along side of the System SE.

Also of import is a new software update for the ddrum4. The new version is v1.50. The update adds the kits from the MegaDrum series, boosts the volume at the headphone jack and adds some MIDI features as well.
