Baldwin Gets Dolled Up

Baldwin Piano recently became “All Dolled Up” when country music mega-star Dolly Parton performed on an elegant white Baldwin SF10 seven-foot grand piano during her Austin, TX, stop of her nationwide “Hello, I’m Dolly” tour. For some of the bigger production numbers, Dolly sat atop the Baldwin with an oversized martini glass and an elongated “cigarette.” However, she played the Baldwin grand for several tunes, including some country and gospel songs.

The superstar also performed with her beloved custom L-1 acoustic from Gibson Montana, and her custom Blueshawk electric from Gibson USA, both bedazzled with her signature rhinestones.

“The show itself has every color of me in it,” said Dolly in a press release about the tour, “from gospel to bluegrass to country to the bigger production numbers, and to the pop hits that I’ve been fortunate to do through the years. I think there will be something for everybody. I wanted to do it in a big way so all of us could enjoy it.”
