 Schecter Spotlight... C-1 Exotic!SchecterPosted 2005-02-17 Schecter has just debuted their most elegant and exotic Diamond Series guitar to date, aptly named the C-1 EXOTIC, at NAMM. Based on our popular custom-shop Hollywood Classic model , the new Exotic features an arched Mahogany body with a thick solid Flamed Maple top. The 25 ½” scale mahogany neck is set into the body with our “ultra access” heel contour for unobstructed upper fret playability. The ebony fingerboard is also outfitted with 24 jumbo hardened stainless frets.
The ‘soul’ of the new Exotic guitar is the dual Super Rock humbuckers. Wound to the exacting specs of our famed custom shop humbuckers, the Super Rocks yield a unique combination of warmth, clarity and sonic diversity; which is further enhanced by the instrument’s Push/Pull TONE control which ‘taps’ the Super Rock humbuckers to emulate single-coil tones.
Other upscale features include a TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge for rock solid intonation and Grover high-ratio tuning machines.
The C-1 EXOTICs, ( which will be available within 2 weeks at your nearest authorized Schecter Dealers! ) will be available in two hand applied Oil finishes; Natural (NAT) and Antique Black Stain (ABLS).
