Roblés Roadcase Debuts "Beer-Proof" Gig Bags

Just when you thought you had a seen it all, Roblés Roadcase blew into Anaheim from the Big Apple and shook up an already rocking 2002 Winter NAMM exhibition with their innovative take on gig bags for guitarists and percussionists. "We've got a brand new bag," says company founder Rob Roblés with a grin, echoing the company's slogan. "We're a small, hungry company who wanted to build a better mousetrap." It seems that they did.

The company unveiled their signature line of electric guitar gig bags and drum stick bags that combine dense, rubberized internal padding with water resistant, "beer-proof" shells that not only protect instruments from the elements and torture of the road, but also come in vivid colors. "The colors definitely catch people's attention," says company co-founder Chris Hansen, "but it's all about protecting the gear." Perhaps that's why Roblés Roadcase landed the coveted endorsement of Paul McCartney, who's often been spotted toting his own gear in the Electric Blue gig bag. "We want to continue to offer the highest quality product at the most reasonable prices possible", says Hansen. "Musicians deserve a better gig bag and we're here to provide it."
