Eden Announces Contest Winners Press Release 2005-07-05 Eden Electronics, the leader in bass amplification, announced the winners of its recently completed Desktop Wallpaper Contest. In all, seven winners were chosen. Two prizes were awarded in each of three categories. The categories represented the three Eden Electronics product lines – David by Eden, Nemesis, and Nemesis Silver Series. A Grand Prize Winner was chosen from all entries. David Nordschow, Eden’s Division Manager and head of Research and Development, was very pleased with the results of the contest. “We were amazed at the quality of all submissions,”, he said. “All the entries were of very high quality, which made the judging extremely difficult. But it was a lot of fun to see just how creative our users are.” Lane Baldwin, Eden’s Special Projects Coordinator and co-creator of the contest, agreed. “It was tough to narrow it down to the final seven,” he said. “There weren’t any we could cut immediately; they were all that good.” Gil Yaron, of Israel, took Grand Prize with his submission featuring a city skyline created entirely of Eden amplifier and speaker cabinets. Other winners, by category were: Eden: First Place – Martin Bencomo Second Place – Don Pancoe Nemesis: First Place – Richard Kulesus Second Place – Lee Leifheit Nemesis Silver Series: First Place – Benjamin Fantou Second Place - Joe Sanchez Even in the large field of submissions, Gil’s entry was a strong favorite among the judges. “Every judge listed Yaron’s entry as their first or second choice,” said Bill Henshell, Web Designer and co-creator of the contest. “After that one, every judge had their favorites.” As the Grand Prize Winner, Yaron will receive the Nemesis Silver Series combo amplifier of his choice. All winners will receive a prize package including Eden apparel and other merchandise, as well as an autographed photo of David Nordschow and an Award Certificate.
