Peavey: New Configurable VSX Loudspeaker Managers

Peavey: New Configurable VSX Loudspeaker Managers

Peavey

Posted 2005-07-31

Peavey proudly introduces the VSX 26 and VSX 48 loudspeaker management systems. More than merely crossovers, these new VSX models feature exclusive Peavey digital processing technology, high-resolution GUI, upgradeable software and functionality for use in single- or multi-zone applications.

With their muliple I/O schemes, these new VSX units enable versatile sound system configuration options. The VSX 26, which has two inputs and six outputs, can receive a stereo signal and cross over at three points in stereo. Each of these stereo signals can be processed individually, as well. The VSX 48 model, which includes the same extensive feature set but increases the number of inputs and outputs to four and eight, respectively, is ideal for multi-zone use or for setting delayed fill speakers.

The VSX 26 and VSX 48 are completely configurable from a front-panel screen, but include PC software that provides a high-resolution GUI for easier system control (connects via the VSX's front-panel USB port). System upgrades can be performed either from the PC software or directly from a USB flash drive ("memory stick").

These single-rack-space units also feature built-in exclusive Feedback FerretR digital feedback elimination, parametric EQ, graphic EQ, fully configurable crossover, compressor, limiter, delay and RTA.

The VSX 26 and VSX 48 will be available in Q3 2005 from authorized Peavey retailers.
