Peavey Gives JF SEries a Rockabilly Redesign on JF-2 EXP Press Release 2005-08-05
Peavey proudly introduces its new JF-2 guitar, a rockabilly flavored, archtop semi-hollowbody based on Peavey's JF-1 jazz/fusion guitar. The Peavey JF-2 combines the superior playing comfort of the JF-1 with high-output pickups, a vintage tremolo tailpiece and expressive sparkle-paint finishes. The JF-2 also features a thin, lightweight maple ply guitar body with solid veneer top; mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard; GroverR tuning keys; and cream binding on the body. The guitar's electronics package includes two volume controls, two tone controls and a three-way, toggle-style pickup selector. The distinctive stylings of the JF-2 are complemented by its unique Peavey sound.
The JF-2 EXP guitar will be available in Q3 2005 from authorized Peavey retailers.
