 US Music To Premier New Mojo String DivisionEMIPosted 2005-08-15 U.S. Music Corporation, parent company of Parker Guitars, Washburn Guitars, Eden Electronics and Randall Amplifiers announced the launch of MojoTM Strings today. For years, U.S. Music has been the original equipment string manufacturer for some of the most well known string brand names. The company has recently made significant investments in machinery and the manufacturing/packaging methods and now leads the string industry in consistent quality.
Made in America, Mojo Strings are wound using a proprietary process that produces superior tone and is softer to the touch for superior playability. Each string is individually sealed in a fresh seal package that ensures longer life, better sustain, and superior shelf life. Consumers will benefit knowing that they are getting a fresh set of strings every time. “While there are many quality string manufacturers in the market place today, we found there is a void in the market place and a demand for consistent longer lasting, fresh strings out of the box. Mojo Strings have taken all erosion variables out of the equation with our new manufacturing and packaging methods,” states Division Manager John Page.
Mojo Strings are offered in a variety of string tensions and gauges. For acoustic strings, Mojo offers Phosphor Bronze, Brass, and Polymer Coated strings. For electric strings, Mojo offers Class 1 Nickel and Stainless Chromium. Mojo also manufactures dual wound Phosphor Bronze strings for acoustic-electric guitars. These strings use alternate parallel windings of phosphor bronze and nickel alloys, providing a better response from your pickups.
