Guitarist, producer and songwriter Pete Anderson has worked with an impressive array of artists ranging from Dwight Yoakam and Michelle Shocked to Jackson Browne and Roy Orbison. Anderson also signs, produces and promotes American roots rock artists through his Los Angeles-based Little Dog Records. In his solo efforts, the Detroit born musician melds country, blues and rock influences for distinctive style and tone.
Throughout his career, Anderson has favored the legendary VOX AC30 sound. He now uses the AC30 Custom Classic, which updates the renowned original with carefully selected “boutique” features. Anderson enthuses, “The new AC30CC has all of the modern conveniences that every guitar player needs, while still having that distinct AC30 sound. It sounds incredible!” He continues, “My favorite feature of the AC30 Custom Classic is the reverb. I like having the extra drive available, and the tone is unmatched. I also really like having the ability to link both the Normal and the Top Boost channels which really thickens the sound up.”
Anderson is touring with Little Dog Records recording artist Moot Davis this summer, and has released his third solo album, Daredevil, along with the instructional DVD, Pete Anderson’s Roots Rock Workshop. For more information visit www.peteanderson.com or www.littledogrecords.com.
