Digitech® GNX3000 Guitar Workstation® Takes Guitar Processing to a New Level

DigiTech®, a Harman International company (NYSE-HAR), debuts the GNX3000 Guitar Workstation®, a full-featured, multi-modeling guitar effects processor that provides key features for both live and studio applications. Inspired by the award-winning GNX4 Guitar Workstation, the GNX3000 offers DigiTech’s new, unique and highly coveted Component-Based Modeling™, two-way computer connectivity via a USB interface for recording, as well as additional I/O to handle other instruments, vocals and monitoring. The GNX3000 also offers both 1/4-inch and XLR outputs to simultaneously send signals directly to your amplifier and to the PA system.
At the heart of the GNX3000 is the onboard amp, cabinet and effects sections including advanced Component-Based Modeling, which completely encompasses the entire signal path of the amp, cabinet and effects and all their individual components, acoustic behavior and interaction. The unit is loaded with amp models based on classics such as the 1965 Fender® Twin Reverb®, 1957 Fender Tweed Deluxe™, Mesa/Boogie® Dual Rectifier™, VOX™ AC30 Top Boost™, Marshall® JCM900™, 1959 Fender® Tweed Bassman®, Ampeg® SVT™ and more. And of course, this arsenal of tones can be warped together to form a customized rig with DigiTech’s proprietary GeNetX® processing technology. Blend in sounds based on classic stomp boxes, including the Ibanez TS-9®, the Arbiter FuzzFace™, the BOSS® DS-1™, DigiTech’s own famous Grunge®, VooDoo Labs® Sparkle Drive™, Electro-Harmonix® Big Muff Pi® and others. Then there are the GNX3000’s special effects such as Whammy®, Wah, Pickup Modeling, Intelligent Pitch Shifting, Chorusing, Flanging, Phasing, Tremelo, Noise Gate, various delays and reverbs, and many, many more.
The DigiTech GNX3000 is loaded with well-thought-out features that make it a guitarist’s best friend in any situation. In the studio, DigiTech’s renowned Hands-Free™ computer recording is enabled by an onboard USB audio/MIDI interface. Also included is ProTracks Plus™ (Mac®/PC) recording software, which enables 4 channels of 24-bit audio to be streamed to the computer while playing 2 channels back, all with zero-latency monitoring, and X-Edit™ Editor/Librarian software. An extremely low-noise dbx® microphone preamp with its own phantom power supply allows you to capture all of the nuances of acoustic playing and vocal performances. Not sure if you want to print tracks wet or dry? Never be forced to make that choice again. Wet/Dry recording capability enables a processed stereo signal plus a mono dry signal to be recorded to the computer simultaneously. Dry signals can then be rerouted back through the GNX3000 for processing with any of its many onboard effects and models. Over 80 professional drum patterns are available at the touch of a footswitch.
Live, the GNX3000 will enhance your performance on any stage. Balanced XLR outputs with speaker compensation can drive a PA, or feed a recording console with the built-in DI box. The 1/4-inch jacks drive guitar amps in mono or stereo and allow you to control your own levels.
