Randall Amplifiers has announced the launch of their MTS Test Drive campaign, in which consumers can enter to win a trip to Chicago to build their own preamp module. Entrants enter by fully completing and submitting an entry form that is obtained at a local registered MTS Test Drive Dealer. The trip to Chicago includes a three day/two night round trip to meet with Randall’s R & D team and Art director to design a module. Accommodations are for the grand prize winner and one guest. The contest runs through October 31st, 2005.

The Randall MTS Series is the most flexible all tube-series of amps, preamps, and combos ever created. The swappable MTS modular preamp components allow you to customize your set-up for a sound that’s all yours. There are a total of 13 preamp modules to choose. These modules produce sounds ranging from Jazz/Blues to hard core Heavy Metal and everything in between. Each module houses two 12AX7 preamp tubes and is easy to exchange by simply sliding in and locking into place with just two thumb screws. “We’re all very excited about Test Drive promotion. It will really help to highlight the flexibility of tones of the amps, while more importantly bring much needed consumer awareness to the MTS series” commented Doug Reynolds, Division Manager for Randall Amplifiers.
