Platinum-selling producer/songwriter Steve Morales (Enrique Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and many more) has added a Digidesign® D-Control™ to his state-of-the-art recording facility in Miami. Working with GC Pro account manager Billy Walker, Morales has created a full-fledged Digidesign ICON recording/production system with his new D-Control, along with his massive Pro Tools|HD® Accel rig. The studio, purely coincidentally, is called Icon Sound.

“The D-Control, along with high quality summing busses like the API 8200, has completely changed the way I work,” says Morales. “I use the D-Control the way a musician plays a keyboard, with nothing stopping my creative process. All of my analog outboard gear is instantly accessible, with recall and automation being handled by Pro Tools, so the workflow is incredibly fast, and nothing interrupts the creativity of the session.”
