Oxnard Local Rolls Out a Winner with Guitar Center Promotion

Guitar Center, the leading instrument retailer, has announced Jose Rodriguez as the winner of its “Cruisin’ Cali-Style” promotion. As Rodriguez cruises the streets of Oxnard, CA in his vintage 1972 Chevy Impala with a custom JBL sound system, Guitar Center continues to hook up its customers with the biggest and best promotions, according to Jack Sonni, vice president of marketing communication for Guitar Center.
“We’re excited that Jose won the Cruisin’ Cali-Style promotion,” said Sonni. “Giving him the car of his dreams truly symbolizes what our monthly promotions are all about: hooking up our customers with unsurpassed prizes geared to their lifestyle and interests.”
More than a refurbished classic, the Guitar Center Impala has only 50,000 miles on its original Chevy 350 engine and features chrome Dayton rims and a hydraulic system with eight switches. The pimped out ride also includes white tuck and roll leather seats complete with orange piping, a tangerine pearl customized paint job with sparkle abalone flake on the hardtop, and a banging JBL sound system.
“I never thought a California classic like the Impala would be mine,” said the 27-year-old winner. “I’ve grown up in Southern California my whole life, wishing I had a pimped out ride. Thanks to Guitar Center, I’m able to represent my West Coast style wherever I go.”
