
Washburn Guitars Announces New Additions to the Idol Series

Washburn Guitars announces their new additions to their Idol Series guitars today. They have developed new additions to the WI66PRO series of Idols. These new guitars will be displayed at the winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California.
The WI66PRO has a mahogany body and mahogany set neck. The Rosewood fingerboard has pearl wing inlays. These idols have Seymour Duncan USA pickups and Grover Tuners. “The Washburn WI66PRO guitars are ideal for the guitarist who want’s a pro level guitar at an affordable price. Equipped with the Seymour Duncan pickups, Buzz Feiten Tuning System™, and Washburn’s Voice Contour Control System, these guitars are studio and stage ready,” explains Matt Cantlon, Washburn’s Product Manager.
The WI66PRO comes in Black, Flamed Top Honeyburst, Flamed Top Tobacco Sunburst, and Gold. The Gold Top Idol has a small variance with the inclusion of P90 Style Pickups and retails for $999.90. The rest of the WI66PROs retail for $1099.90.
