Lynch and Randall are “Back for the Attack” at Winter NAMM 2006

Press Release

2006-01-24

Randall Amplifiers is proud to welcome George Lynch back to the US Music family, by introducing a new signature line of amplification products, making their debut at Winter NAMM in Anaheim.

Randall has produced the new “Lynch Box” head and Cabinet, based around their existing RM100 electronics. This 100 Watt Modular head features an all tube signal path, MTS module switching capabilities, E34L power tubes, and a visually stunning forest green “alligator” vinyl covering. Specifications for the new “Lynch Box” Head can be found below.

To generate a majority of the Lynch Box tone, Randall has teamed up with Lynch to capture his personalized tones in 4 signature preamp modules, all featuring two 12AX7’s as well as compatibility with all other MTS series amps. Lynch’s new signature modules are appropriately called: the Super V, Brahma, Mr. Scary, and the Grail.

• The Super V module has vintage clean tone with very Vox® like characteristics. Nice chime on the high's with warm low bottom end. Sounds very acoustic like due to reduced mid-range.

• The Brahma Module possesses the characteristics of Lynch’s signature throaty Hi-Gain rhythm sound and has a vintage Plexi type of tone.

• The Mr. Scary Module emphasizes Lynch’s signature, 80’s hi-gain, heavy rhythm and lead tone that was the tonal voice behind the Dokken and Lynch Mob albums. This one packs more punch than the Brahma.

• The Grail features modern lead and rhythm tonal characteristics with a true RectifierTM feel, capable of handling Lynch’s current tonal demands.

Along with the new “Lynch Box” head and preamps, Randall is introducing a George Lynch signature cabinet, featuring: a combination of birch plywood and high density fiberboard construction for a desired resonance, and four 12” Custom Eminence cast frame speakers capable of handling 300 Watts of clear clean power. The RS412LB cab boasts the same stunning signature “Alligator” vinyl covering with gold piping.

Randall is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Lynch Box Head, Preamps and Cabinet, and proud to support the classic and current sounds of George Lynch.
