(Trace Elliot | Posted 2006-02-13)

British amplifier manufacturer Trace Elliot has announced its new U.S. product range for 2006, including three 7-Band bass amplifiers with intelligent Trace Elliot design and craftsmanship. The Trace Elliot 7-Band range gives discerning bassists enhanced tonal control, useful performance features and compact size. These amplifiers include four footswitchable features: Pre-Shape, the famous Trace Elliot tone-shaping tool; a seven-band Trace Elliot graphic equalizer; a compressor with self-adjusting, program-dependant attack and release times; and an output mute that silences all outputs except the tuner out.
Other features include an electronically balanced XLR DI which is switchable between pre-EQ and post-preamp, Celestion® loudspeakers (715 and 715X models), line out, MOSFET technology and a series effects loop.
