BEHRINGER at the Prolight + Sound 2006: More Value for Customers (Behringer | Posted 2006-04-08) BEHRINGER, a world-leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of professional audio and musical instrument products, today announced a series of global service initiatives at the Prolight + Sound tradeshow held in Frankfurt, Germany from March 29 to April 1, 2006. At the same time, BEHRINGER also unveiled about 10 all-new products to deliver added value to their customers and dealers, and sustain the growth momentum the Group has built over the past 17 years.
Mr Michael Deeb, Group CEO of BEHRINGER described the Group’s approach as, “We have a history of surprising the market with products that enabled thousands to become active music makers, thanks to our excellent product quality and competitive price point. Building on this foundation, we want to create additional value for our customers and business partners by providing unprecedented services to them.”
Global Service Initiatives
Setting a new standard for the professional audio industry is the revolutionary New For Old global warranty exchange programme. Under the programme, a returned BEHRINGER product is replaced with a new one on the spot¹ - eradicating repair hassles and minimising usage downtime.
Another first-of-its-kind service initiative to be launched in the first half of 2006 for BEHRINGER dealers worldwide is the brand-new BEHRINGER Dealer Portal. This secure and powerful web-based resource encompasses all dealer related services as a one-stop shop, enabling online order and contractual interactions, and providing dealers with relevant news and updates.
These service initiatives are paired by enhanced availability of presented products and a series of novelties tapping into emerging customer needs, and delivering on the BEHRINGER promise of high-quality gear at competitive prices.
Another 10 New Products Unveiled
Following the successful launch of 32 new products at The NAMM Show 2006 in January, BEHRINGER has announced the immediate availability of approximately 90% of them and is now introducing another close to 10 new products that are to be delivered later this year.
Further strengthening BEHRINGER’s foothold in the keyboard-based instruments segment is the addition of two digital pianos: the EUROGRAND EG540-BK and EUROGRAND EG8080-BK. Also included are a brand-new series of three ULTRACOUSTIC guitar amplifiers (ACX450, ACX900 and ACX1800), an USB guitar workstation (iAXE393), a EURORACK mixing console (EURORACK PRO RX1202FX) and the Studio Condenser Microphone C-3.
BEHRINGER also showcased most of the products that were unveiled at The NAMM Show 2006, including a UMX series of ultra-compact master keyboards, a BASS PACK and a complete new line of XENYX mixers that are characterised by high quality performance, low latency, and easy connection to USB-equipped PC or Mac®.
