Ministry Takes the Industrial Revolution on the Road with Digitech® PedalsDigiTechPosted 2006-07-20 Industrial pioneer Al Jourgensen and his band Ministry are touring North America in support of Rio Grande Blood (13th Planet Records/Megaforce). Bandmates include guitarist and vocalist Jourgensen, bassist Paul Raven (Killing Joke), drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls), keyboardist John Bechdel (Fear Factory, Killing Joke), guitarist Mike Scaccia (Ministry/Rigor Mortis), and guitarist Tommy Victor (Prong). Jourgensen, Raven, Scaccia and Victor have all outfitted their rigs with pedals from DigiTech®, a leading manufacturer of guitar signal processors and a Harman International company (NYSE-HAR).
DigiTech pedals in the famed group’s arsenal include the Whammy® and the new EX-7 Expression Factory™. Scaccia, a metal giant in his own right and 20-year veteran of Ministry, praises the DigiTech X-Series™ pedals: “I stomp harder than anyone on pedals and these can take it! Plus they sound great.”
Paul Muniz, DigiTech Artist Relations, remarks, “This band tours a lot! They’re always willing to try new gear out and put it to the test and with excellent results. If it passes Ministry’s assault, we know we did our job correctly.”
