Audio Design Specialists, one of the Midwests leading audio systems design and installation experts, has chosen the MC2 Audio Ltd. T1000 power amp as its first choice for audio system applications. Audio Design Specialists has used the T1000 (500W/channel into 4 Ohms) in two new installations, at the Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond-du-Lac, Wisconsin, and the Harrisburg Fine Arts Center in Harrisburg, Arkansas. These installations are the first of what Madison, Wisconsin-based Audio Design Specialists says will be a lengthy list of future projects for which the T1000 will serve as the anchor of a wide range of sophisticated sound systems.
The sound system at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church is part of the first phase of a new campus for the church, completed earlier this year. The main facility is a multi-use space, serving as worship center, recreational area and performance space. Eight MC2 T1000 power amplifiers are used to power the sound systems main loudspeakers, subwoofers, monitors and 70 Volt distributed audio system. The Harrisburg Fine Arts Center, which is nearly completed, utilizes nine T1000 power amplifiers for its sound systems main loudspeakers, subwoofers, monitors and distributed audio system, where they will handle a wide range of uses, from drama to music to speeches.
In both installations, the T1000 was chosen for its exceptional sonic qualities and reliability as well as the high level of technical support that MC2 and Group One provide. I like to standardize around one amplifier type for all of our installs, explains John Westra, owner of Audio Design Specialists, which did the acoustical design and consulting, along with the provision and installation of the systems at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church and the Harrisburg Fine Arts Center. That gives us the ability to have simplified interchange of components and lets us work from a single inventory. We like the sound quality of the T1000. These two installations were our first use of the T1000 and were committed to using it in future installations all over the country, for all types of applications. It will be our number-one choice for a power amplifier.
