 Parker Introduces Jazz Series GuitarsParkerPosted 2006-12-09 Parker Guitars is proud to announce the release of the Parker Jazz Series Guitar which will offer the guitarist superior tone and a classy look. Both the J Man and the J Cat will feature solid carved spruce tops, with solid carved maple backs, providing clear, warm tone and full-size projection. The guitars will feature a unique cutaway allowing easy access to the upper frets for solo work, and ebony fingerboards with abalone inlays ensuring brilliant tone and looks.
The PJ12 J Man will be available in a Sunburst finish, with 2 Egnater Humbucking Pickups, both with individual volume and tone controls. A prominent "J Man" Pearl inlay will be featured on the headstock and two contemporary sound holes complete the guitars classy look. The J Man will include a deluxe hardshell case and have a list price of $4000.
The PJ14 J Cat will be available in a Natural finish and feature a Floating Egnater Humbucking Pickup. The headstock will boast an elaborate Abalone and Mother of Pearl "Parker" inlay, while the Ebony tailpiece will feature an Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlay. The J Cat will include a deluxe hardshell case and have a list price of $4500.
The Parker Jazz Series Guitars will debut at Winter NAMM 2007 in Anaheim.
