BEHRINGER unveils, at the Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt, the CENTARI iAXE624 and the METALIEN iAXE629 USB-Guitars . The CENTARI iAXE624 features a 22 fret hard-maple fingerboard, SSS pickup configuration, Volume and 2 Tone controls. The METALIEN iAXE629 features 24 medium jumbo frets in a rosewood fingerboard with binding and triangle inlays, SSH pickup configuration, Volume and Tone control. Both can be plugged straight into a computer and turn a PC or Mac computer into a guitar amp and recording system without the need for any other hardware.

These are the main features of the two new models:

- Sealed chrome machine heads, vintage vibrato bridge and a 5-way switch

- Solid aspen body, maple neck

- Native Instruments Guitar Combos BEHRINGER Edition

- Kristal 16-track music production and Audacity editing software

- Direct operation with your PC or Mac computer—ultra-low latency ASIO driver for PC audio optimization included

- Stereo Headphone output to jam with the computer and can also be used for monitoring with active monitor speakers

“Quality sounds and plug & play made our iAXE393 USB-Guitar a huge success in 2006. Now we’ve addressed specific customer preferences, with new hardware configurations and distinct looks“, commented BEHRINGER’s Sr. Product Manager Jan Duwe.
