Introducing the June 2002 Contest! Chris Bereznay 2002-06-02
Detroit native, Jimmie Bones, has been playing keyboards in Kid
Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker band since 1995. In all that time, they
have shared the stage with Korn, Metallica, Limp Bizkit and System of
a Down and since late 1999 they have achieved mainstream headliner
status playing to packed houses all over the United States, Europe
and the rest of the world.
On The 'Cocky' Tour, as well as in the studio, Jimmie jams out on his
Hammond, Korg Triton and MS-2000 and Wurlitzer electric Piano.
Supporting it all is Jimmie's trusted Quik-Lok Stand, the QL641
two-tier keyboard stand.
Quik-Lok Stands is the proud sponsor of this month's
MusicGearReview.com contest. The Grand Prize winner will get the Kid
Rock CD, "Cocky", autographed by Jimmie and the band, as well as a
Quik-Lok QL641 Keyboard stand, a $180.00 retail value - the same
model Jimmie uses on stage to support his rig. The Grand Prize
winner will also receive a 20-minute telephone call keyboard lesson
from Jimmie Bones. Not a keyboardist? Then feel free to fire away a
few interesting questions about what it's like to be on the hottest
tour of the summer of 2002.
