 Check In to Check Out Yamaha's New Music Production GearYamahaPosted 2007-07-31 Yamaha recently presented its Music Production products at the successful Remix Hotel event, held at the SAE Institute of Technology in New York City. Featuring the MM6 and Motif XS Workstations, as well as the GO46, this was also the first showing in the United States of Steinberg's new Sequel Music Creation Software.
New York's urban music community and tech enthusiasts turned out to see product specialist Greg Ondo demonstrate Sequel in combination with the MM6, played through the new MSP7 Studio monitors.
The Remix Hotel provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today's electronic and urban music via artist presentations and demonstrations, workshops, clinics and discussion. The Remix Hotel New York event featured special appearances by industry insiders, including Just Blaze, Rob Swift, Hank Shocklee, Vernon Reid, Kode-9 and Buckshot.
