Peavey Amps Featured on Fox Sports Net's NFL Show Press Release 2002-09-22
Three of Peavey's hardest-hitting amplifiers are being featured on Fox Sports Net's signature NFL pregame show, The NFL Show, throughout the 2002 NFL season. The program's house band uses Peavey for its entire backline, which includes a BAM 210 bass combo, Transformer 212 guitar combo and KB/A 300 keyboard amp.
"My BAM 210 combo gives me everything I need for the demanding world of live TV," said bassist
John Flannery. "At any given moment we need to be able to cover musical styles ranging from
bebop to metal to country to funk. The amp models and effects sound great direct and the built-in
cabinet really fills the room."
The BAM 210 bass combo packs a whopping 350 Watts with 16 amp presets, eight effects and
built-in compressor/limiter, making it the most versatile bass modeling amp in existence. It
simulates eight classic bass amps and eight enclosures and includes effects such as octave divider,
auto wah, chorus/flange and distortion.
Guitarist Matt Baldoni's long relationship with Peavey grew from fertile ground, in a manner of
speaking. "I shoveled horse manure for a year to get my first Peavey amp, but it changed my
playing forever," he said. "I have since owned Peavey combos and power amps and have gotten
incredible use out of them."
