Los Angeles, CA, March 17, 2009 — Roland is proud to announce that the latest addition to its industry leading V-Drums, the TD-4S® V-Compact Series™ V-Drums, is now available. With upgraded sounds, enhanced functionality and a friendly new design, the TD-4S is fun to play, comfortable to use, and great for practice.
The TD-4S includes the new TD-4 Percussion Sound Module which features all new expressive drum and percussion sounds, as well as new ambience effects that are optimized for drums. The included snare pad features the superior feel of Roland's patented multi-layer mesh head for incredible dynamic response. A newly designed four-legged drum stand allows flexible and solid positioning of the pads and places the TD-4 module in the center for easy access. The TD-4S also includes Roland's natural playing cymbals and expressive hi-hat control, giving drummers an amazing playing experience.
TD-4S: V-Compact Series Roland V-Drums are famous for their flexibility, and the TD-4S is no exception. Its Rhythm Coach® and Quick Record functions are ideal for effective practice, and it is expandable with an optional pad or 3-way trigger CY-12R/C V-Cymbal®. The TD-4 also accepts the optional VH-11 V-Hi-Hat, which uses any standard hi-hat stand for even more acoustic realism.
