Ampeg Bigger Than Ever For Summer Touring Season

With this year’s summer touring season in full swing, Ampeg endorsers will be playing to millions of fans at the year’s highest profile festivals and stages.

Sonisphere sees both headline acts using Ampeg with Rob Trujillo (Metallica) and Dave Farrel (Linkin Park). Also on the main stage, Geezer Butler (Heaven & Hell), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Michael Inez (Alice in Chains) rip it up with Ampeg!

All three headliners for the 2009 Reading Festival are Ampeg Endorsers - Colin Greenwood (Radiohead), Jared Followill (Kings Of Leon) and Nick O'Malley (Arctic Monkeys) will all be playing their favourite Ampeg rigs. Other Ampeg artists at this year’s sold out festival include Simon Rix (Kaiser Chiefs), Matt Barnes (You Me At Six) and Matt Kean (Bring Me The Horizon).

The V festival has an eclectic assortment of Ampeg artists, including Paul Wilson (Snow Patrol).

The majority of these artists are using Ampeg SVTs, pioneered in the 1960s and still the first choice for bassists on stages around the world. The SVT rigs are the benchmark for live performers with their powerful all-tube sound delivering thunderous volumes and unsurpassed and tonal flexibility.
