Washburn introduces redesigned Festival Series

Known for its affordable, playable acoustic guitars, Washburn presents the redesigned acoustic Festival Series guitars for 2010. Available for nearly 20 years, the series has new and improved qualities aimed at the performing artist. The models to be introduced include the EA10, EA12, EA14, EA15, EA16, EA20, EA20S, EA21, and the EA21S.

EA10
The Washburn EA10 will be offered in a new petite jumbo body style similar in looks to the Washburn Parlor guitars with a fuller lower bout. A Basswood top, back, and sides, die-cast tuners, and a MET-A07 tuner/preamp make this a stage ready guitar. The EA10 is available in black, white, and red and has a list price of $265.90.

EA12
The EA12 utilizes the new mini jumbo body design and features a Basswood top, back and sides and also features the MET-A07 tuner/preamp. The EA12 is available in black, red, and white finishes and has a list price of $265.90.

EA14
This Festival Series shaped model features a Spruce top, Catalpa sides and back, die-cast tuners, a MET-A07 tuner/preamp and is available in sunburst finish. The list price is $319.90.

EA15
The EA15 has all the features of the EA14, but with a real flame maple top. This model is also available in a sunburst finish and has a list price of $354.90.

EA16
Like the previous models, this guitar also features a florentine body shape. It features a Spruce top, Mahogany sides and back, 18:1 tuners, and a MET-A07 tuner/preamp. The EA16 is available in a natural finish and has a list price of $354.90.

EA20
The EA20 has the new mini jumbo Florentine cutaway silhouette with a unique oval sound hole. It features a Spruce top, and Flame Maple sides and back. The EA20 is equipped with 18:1 tuners and a MET-A07 tuner/preamp, and has a list price of $444.90. This model is available in a natural finish.

EA20S
The EA20S has all the same features as the EA20 upgraded with a Solid Spruce top and Fishman electronics. It is available in a natural finish and has a list price of $533.90.

EA21 (pictured)
The EA21 also has the new mini jumbo body style with a florentine cutaway and features a Spruce top, Basswood back and sides, and abalone binding and rosette. It features 18:1 tuners and a MET-A07 tuner/preamp. It is available in a black finish for a list price of $444.90.

EA21S
Similar the EA21, the EA21S has all the same features but with a Solid Spruce top and Fishman electronics. It is available in a black finish for a list price of $533.90.
