Two of the best-known brands in the music business, Paul Stanley of KISS and Silvertone Guitars, have introduced a new line of guitars designed by the rock legend, according to SMC's John Hawkins, Vice President, MI Division.
“I can play any guitar I want. I choose Silvertone. The guitars are great playing, great sounding, and great looking guitars. These are today’s style. We need more kids playing music and very few could afford signature guitars priced over $1000. Silvertone offers the quality any guitar player would be proud to own. I guarantee it,” Paul Stanley pronounced.
Bob Jones, President of SMC, added, “We worked directly with Paul. This is winning team consisting of the world’s largest guitar manufacturer, a great brand like Silvertone, a true rock legend like Paul Stanley, and the KISS marketing machine. “Paul’s first guitar was a Silvertone. We wanted to create something that had never been done before -- a high quality signature series that everyone can afford. Paul came into the office for days just to sit at a drafting table and design unique guitars for the coming KISS tour invasion. Our Samick USA Custom Shop built the tour models and the prototypes to Paul’s specifications. The production samples have been approved and production will begin immediately on our new high-end production line in Indonesia,” Hawkins stated.
