Carillon Audio Systems USA, is proud to announce that Charlie Steinberg, founder of Steinberg Media Technologies, has adopted the Carillon AC1 as one of his main development machines.

Carillon Audio Systems manufacturers the world's first PC developed from the ground up for multitrack audio and music recording. The Carillon Audio System is based on the core AC1 computer – the quietest computer system ever developed for audio. Carillon's unique Total System Integration marries the AC1 with leading music software and hardware products in a range of seamless systems, ready to use out-of-the-box.

Charlie Steinberg needs no introduction. His products have had a major impact on the way millions of musicians, songwriters, and studio professionals create and make music. Over the last 20-years Steinberg’s innovative approach to the user interface, native processing and the plug-in concept, amongst many other things, have established the company’s products as market leaders worldwide.

Charlie remains a driving force for new development, most recently System Link technology enabling multiple computers to function as a single integrated workstation. System Link was developed on Charlie’s Carillon AC1, one of his main development machines for over a year. One of the first few things to impress Charlie were the power and efficiency displayed by the AC1 for the level of processor employed.

“It was clear that the computer was very well optimized and carefully built with good components. It’s also been completely reliable and the physical access is easy – very useful in a development situation,” states Charlie.

The Carillon Audio system is available in a wide range of custom configurations featuring Nuendo, Cubase SX, Cubase SL, and other popular audio programs. Each of the systems is configured for a particular group of users. Cubase Foundation Systems start at $1,299.00 US List.
