Eric Miller's WABEJON Entertainment Buys Third Round of Blue Sky Speakers for Expanding Audio / Video Facility

Press Release

2003-02-21

Wabejon Entertainment, the production and record company owned by successful producer and label executive Eric Miller, has purchased two more Blue Sky 2.1 monitoring systems for the company’s two-year-old, 7,000-square-foot facility. The two new sets of Blue Sky speakers complement the two systems already in place in the expanding facility, rendering Wabejon Entertainment one of a growing number of all-Blue Sky facilities. In addition, a Blue Sky 5.1 surround monitoring system will be installed in a new mixing studio, equipped with an SSL console, expected to come on line at Wabejon Entertainment in May 2003.

Eric Miller has proven his talent as both a creative record producer and a savvy businessman. Wabejon Entertainment has worked with many successful artists, including Sara (BMG), B5 (Bad Boy Entertainment), Sarai (Epic, hit single “Pack Ya Bags”), and Althea (Ill Na Na/Def Jam Records), as well as Will Baker and Pete Woodruff of Hitstreet Avenue, who have earned GRAMMY® nominations for their work with India.Arie. Jason Weaver, actor-turned-recording artist with credits on such hit television shows as The Smart Guy and The Jackson 5, also chose to record his new album at Wabejon Entertainment. Miller obviously has good ears, and Wabejon Entertainment continues to develop new artists, such as Uptown3000, Biography Blue, Suth-N-Bred, Dre-Malik, Sadae, N-Tyce, and The Allen Yeats Band. Wabejon has grown even further with their development of a film department, headed up by Grits Carter of B-DownFilmworks. Movies edited in Wabejon’s post-production studio utilizing the Blue Sky speakers include The Pizzaman and B-Boyz.

“The Blue Sky monitors are simply cleaner and clearer sounding than anything else,” Miller remarks. “They’re very crisp sounding. Also, you get a tremendous amount of power from a speaker of that size. I can mount them on desktops or on stands and get full-range response. And by using Blue Sky speakers throughout our facility, we can have a consistent sound from studio to studio. The artists love them, and I love them,” Miller concludes.

Blue Sky International was founded, and is jointly owned by Group One Ltd. and Audio Design Labs Inc. The company was established by combining the marketing and sales expertise of Group One with Audio Design Lab’s award-winning design team. Blue Sky International currently produces the Sky System One and ProDesk™ monitoring systems, which provide full range, accurate sound at extremely high output levels while offering exceptional value to the professional user.
