Schecter releases New Extended Scale C-1EX

Schecter releases New Extended Scale C-1EX

Press Release

2003-03-25

Schecter Guitar Research has announced the addition of the C-1 EX to their sub-tuned series. The new extended scale C-1 EX joins the infamous SCORPION, which was released in early 2000 and lead the way in extended scale guitar technology, with a dedicated design for today’ aggressive drop tuned sound.

The C-1 EX is based on Schecter’s popular ‘Classic’ arch-top design and features a bound mahogany body, a 26.5” set-in rock maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard inlaid with a striking new tribal design.

Factory tuned and strung to low “B” (B/E/A/D/F#/B), the C-1EX yields a devastating mix of bone-rattling power with remarkable clarity. The addition of a TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge gives the C-1EX unequaled intonation and rock solid tuning stability.

The C-1EX is armed with two Duncan Design Alnico humbuckers and Grover tuners.

The C-1EX is available in Gloss Black with Satin Chrome hardware. MSRP: $699.00

A Left Hand version is also available with a $749 retail price.

A Limited Lifetime Warranty backs all Schecter Diamond Series instruments.
