XTA is proud to introduce the new XTA DP6i Audio Installation Controller geared for the setup and control of the finest audio quality throughout any venue. The DP6i continues XTA’s reputation for sound quality in a unit designed for the most demanding applications of the installed sound market, where both audio quality and system control are critical.
The unit features two inputs and six outputs. Both inputs have an eight band parametric equalizer, base delay, and gain control. All outputs feature crossover filters, five band parametric equalizer, high and low shelving filters, limiter, and delay. Full metering is provided for inputs and outputs, with a mute button for instant system control in emergencies.
The four front-panel memory buttons give the installer the chance to offer different system setups and make switching between them as simple and fast as possible. With the unit’s one-button setup capabilities, any venue can reconfigure its audio setup instantly. A single system mute button (front-panel lockout can be configured as well) also increases user-friendliness.
A general-purpose interface option is available, allowing remote memory switching and instant system changes for a venue with varied requirements.
For added tamper-proof security, the unit has an internally selectable control to disable the memory recall switches. Additionally, it can be fully locked remotely via the software during setup.
XTA’s AudioCore Windows® control software enables centralized control of up to 32 DP6i units, with the ability for further units to shadow those 32 ID numbers for an unlimited number of system outputs. The software offers the ability to quickly view, set, or change configurations and/or parameters on multiple units. Equalization curves are accessible for each input and output, allowing precise equalization adjustments to be made. Mute and solo functions ease system troubleshooting. All parameters can be adjusted via mouse or keyboard, including the versatility now offered by wireless solutions, allowing setup of the system from any area.
Features:
• 2 input / 6 output audio installation controller
• 4 front panel memories/configurations
• Proven control interface — AudioCore — for fast, easy setup
• Tamper-proof technology
• One-button instant system mute
• Unit “shadow” facility to simplify complex systems and easily increase outputs
• The finest audio quality, as already specified by the world’s top recording studios,
theaters and artists
“We have a real gem in our Audiocore PC control software,” says UK XTA Sales and Marketing Manager, Guy Lewis, “and we can now use this control platform to bring XTA audio quality to the installed sound market. Our DSP audio engine is proven at the very highest levels of the industry and taking a ‘blank panel’ approach will make XTA even more affordable for clubs, bars, restaurants, theme parks — in fact any installation where audio quality is at the top of the list. The Array Control feature within AudioCore enables straightforward command of a maximum of 24 audio ‘zones’ for even the largest applications.”
