 Korg Receives Mipa Award At Frankfurt Musikmesse 2003KorgPosted 2003-04-16 At the 4th annual Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) Ceremony, held recently in Frankfurt, Germany, the Musical Instrument/Pro Audio industry recognized the most outstanding contributions made to the music industry over the past year. This year’s award for the best music workstation went to the Korg TRITON Studio. It marks the third time in the past four years that Korg has been honored in this category.
More than 300 international representatives of music/audio-related manufacturers and distributors were in attendance. In preparation for the awards, over 50 magazines from around the world consulted with their reviewers and editors to present a list of nominees in over 40 categories, from which the final winners were chosen.
Mike Kovins, President of Korg USA, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Korg products, expressed the company’s appreciation of the MIPA awards, stating, “We are very proud of our current flagship product, the TRITON Studio. It’s an honor to have it recognized by leading journalists from around the world.”
