Alesis adds two new multi-drum pads to their catalog

Alesis is introducing two new multi-drum pads to their line of electronic percussion instruments. The compact PercPad, the first four-pad electronic instrument made by Alesis, and the high-end version of the PerformancePad, the PerformancePad Pro.


Alesis has made their best effort to offer a compact, multi functional, and affordable product with great built in sound with the release of the PercPad. Coming with a collection of acoustic and electronic drum and percussion samples, offering a great sound palette for your percussive needs, the PercPad also features a MIDI output, thus expanding your options by using sounds third party software. It also comes with a kick input, headphones, and ¼’ outputs. The PercPad can be easily mounted by using a standard snare drum stand or by using Alesis, Module Mount. The PercPad will be available from musical instrument and professional audio retailers worldwide in the second quarter of 2011. It has a U.S. Retail Price of $199.00 and an estimated street price of $99.00.

PerformancePad Pro

This eight-velocity sensitive multi drum pad features kick and hi-hat inputs, over 500 multi-sampled sounds with Dynamic Articulation, a sequence engine from Alesis’ best drum machines enabling three-part sequences, high-definition sound set with acoustic and electronic drums, percussion, sound effects, bass and others, while also containing built in Alesis’ studio effects (Reverb, EQ and Compression). The PerformancePad Pro can be mounted on stand and rack by using the Alesis Module Mount. “The PerformancePad Pro builds on the successful PerformancePad,” said Dan Radin, Product Manager at Alesis. “Drummers love the layout and feel of the original, and this new version adds a new, larger sound library and powerful new features.” The PerformancePad Pro is available now from musical instrument and pro audio retailers.
