Vox Receives Mipa Award At Frankfurt Musikmesse 2003

At the 4th annual Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) Ceremony, held recently in Frankfurt, Germany, the Musical Instrument/Pro Audio industry recognized the most outstanding contributions made to the music industry over the past year. This year’s award for the best combo amp was presented to the VOX Valvetronix.

Over 300 international representatives of music/audio-related manufacturers and distributors were in attendance. In preparation for the awards, over 50 magazines from around the world consulted with their reviewers and editors to present a list of nominees in over 40 categories, from which the final winners were chosen.

Mitch Colby, Senior Vice President of Korg USA, the exclusive U.S. distributor of VOX products, expressed the company’s appreciation of the MIPA awards, stating, “It is always gratifying to have our products and efforts recognized, especially by our industry’s leading journalists from around the world.”
