Mackie Announces Studio/Rehearsal Space “Makeover” Contest

Mackie Designs Inc. (OTC BB: MKIE) today launched a special summer promotion that will give musicians a chance to win a free makeover for their recording studio or rehearsal space. Running from now until August 2, 2003, people may sign up for the Mackie Makeover contest at Mackie’s home page (www.mackie.com). Contestants will then choose if they want either the recording studio or rehearsal space “facelift”. Upon the conclusion of the contest, Mackie will randomly select two winners, one winner for each setup.
One winner will receive a Recording Studio Makeover consisting of a D8B Digital Mixer, a pair of HR824 Active Studio Monitors and an HDR24/96 Hard Disk Recorder/Editor. The other winner will receive a Rehearsal Space Makeover consisting of an SR32•4-VLZ Pro Live Sound Mixer, two C300 Loudspeakers and two M•800 Power Amplifiers.
