 MM-1 From KORG re-defines metronomesKorgPosted 2001-08-18 Korg, the industry leader in metronome and tuner technology, introduces the world's smallest metronome. The new MetroGnome(tm) (MM-1) is an extremely compact metronome that clips comfortably on the ear. Lightweight and unobtrusive, the MM-1 is powered by a 3V Lithium battery, eliminating the need for cables. The MM-1 has a tempo range of 40-208 beats per minute, and selectable time signatures (from 1/4 through 1/7), plus duplet, triplet and quadruplet beats. Featuring a streamlined design, the MM-1 is available in a range of colors including gold, silver, black, and dark blue.
Until now, musicians using a metronome while practicing in high volume situations were faced with two problems: They either had to strain to hear the unit's internal speaker because of insufficient volume levels, or rely on headphones with cables that interfered with their freedom of movement. The MetroGnome eliminates these problems and allows players to focus on their instrument without any distractions. It can also be used as a convenient "click-track" for accurate time-keeping in home and project studio recording situations.
The MM-1 will be available in October 2001 with a suggested retail price of $24.99.
