MKS Debuts with Pedal Pad Pedalboard

Press Release

2001-08-28

MKS Professional Stage Products, Inc. has effectively bridged the gap between custom and entry level guitar equipment by producing Pedal Pad, a pedal board with a modular design that allows players the ability to customize their own set-up.

Pedal Pad is a piece of equipment that guitar players use to protect and organize effects pedals. Pedal Pad features a three-space rack mount or optional tray for additional pedals which can be configured for stage left or stage right. Three independent pads on the bottom tier can rest at 90 degrees or meet the pitch of the second tier to allow for larger pedals. Stereo outputs and an effects loop let players configure signal chains so that the delivery is at the strongest possible signal to the amplifier. Unlimited combinations allow players to be flexible and creative in their sets. Pedal Pad solves problems such as uneven and unfiltered power to effects pedals, voltage surges and spikes, road wear and pedal settings lost between gigs.

Pedal Pad offers three different models that cater to different levels of guitar players. The RM-10 model features a three-tier stair-step design, rack mount capabilities, PureVolt power supply, durable case and all the flexibility needed for various performances. The JP-10 model features a two-tier stair-step design, durable case and PureVolt power supply. The JP model features a two-tier stair-step design and durable case. This model is for players who might already have a power supply.

"I've been playing the guitar since I was seven years-old and one day realized the potential for this product. I'm just grateful it's being received so well," said Mike Stratton, MKS Professional Stage Products president.
