New Kramer Striker AX-404C Double Neck Guitar(Kramer | Posted 2001-09-10)  (Capitola, CA., September 9, 2001) Kramer announces the introduction of the Striker AX-404C Acoustic/Electric Double Neck. By combining a 6-string acoustic with a 6-string electric neck, the new Kramer allows the individual guitarist to easily and quickly integrate both acoustic and electric guitar sounds into one song or one performance. Specifically with the performer in mind, Kramer has included DUAL outputs allowing the musician to send the output of both necks out one output OR each neck out individual outputs.
The acoustic neck features a "Made in Germany" Shadow SH-CA active acoustic system with individual tone and volume controls. The pickup is a Shadow SH-095 ceramic piezo mounted under the saddle and installed into the Rosewood string-through bridge. The electric neck has designed in the USA QuadRail™ humbuckers to allow for noisefree, high-gain rock tone and features individual pickup tone and volume controls as well as a 3-way pickup selector switch.
Other features include a flame Maple top and an Alder body and dual hard Maple necks with Rosewood fingerboards. The body, neck and headstock are bound and the electric neck sports “mother of pearl” block inlays with abalone triangles.
