 Dean Introduces New Sweetwood Series GuitarsDeanPosted 2003-09-05 Dean Guitars unveiled the Sweetwood series of guitars, featuring all solid wood construction with Sitka Spruce tops and Mahogany or Rosewood backs and sides. The Sweetwood line is comprised of 2 readnought models (SWDM - Mahogany and SWDR - Rosewood), a Jumbo Cutaway (SWDM) with Rosewood back and sides, and a 12-fret Parlor guitar with an aged top, Rosewood back and sides, and a slotted headstock. Prices start at $769 for the Mahogany dreadnought.
All Sweetwoods feature vintage style open tuners with butter bean buttons. A custom fitted, brown, archtop hardshell case is included in the price of the guitar.
