Eager Sevendust fans can preview the Atlanta-based hard rock band's entire new album, Seasons, from October 3 through November 1 at www.peavey.com. The Sevendust Listening Party will feature all 12 of the album's tracks, including the first single "Enemy."

With four Gold-certified records (500,000 copies sold) and a string of heavy, high energy hits behind them, the members of Sevendust set out to showcase their songwriting talents on this latest release. "Seasons is a little bit different, but it's not that much of a change," said bassist Vince Hornsby. "It's just showing what the band can do. We enjoy grinding into the ground--that's the kind of band we are, anyway--but we've (also) done "Angel's Son" and (other) acoustic stuff in the past. Butch Walker (producer) had great ideas for vocal melodies and chords, so we're just trying different stuff."

Judging from the anthemic "Enemy," which begins with a fuzzed-out, Peavey-fueled bassline, the band's experiment--with both songwriting and bass amplifiers--was a huge success. Hornsby recently added some new gear to his Peavey rig, one that already included four 810TVX* enclosures, MAX® preamps and DPC® 1400X digital power amps (each pumping 1400 Watts bridged from a 16 lb., single-rack-space unit).

"I've got everything sounding awesome," he said. "I got four Pro 210* boxes that I'm using for subs, and they've made a massive difference. It's like you're in a bass trap all the way across the stage. I love it! To be honest, ever since I got with Peavey, it's been awesome. The range of different stuff I can do with (my gear) is great."

Hornsby will have ample opportunities to test his Peavey amplifiers in October when Sevendust hits U.S. arenas and amphitheaters with Staind. "They've talked about bringing us out ever since they blew up," he added, "and we said, 'why not?' We're pretty good friends." The band will also headline its own U.S. and European tours well into 2004.
