Posted 2003-10-13

Riff Interactive has added a pair of new Interactive Guitar Lesson CD-ROM products from guitar educator Michael Johnson. A unique blend of rock exploded onto the airwaves in the early 1970s. This infectious sound combined the styles of rock, country, soul, blues, and jazz into one expressive and intelligent language. This era of music launched the careers of guitarists like Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Charlie Daniels, Toy Caldwell, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Ed King and Steve Gains. Many of these guitarists have inspired many modern day musicians.

In Southern Rock Legends I (retail $11.95, sale $9.95), you'll learn the style and techniques used by each of The Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Southern Rock Legends II (retail $11.95, sale $9.95), you'll learn the style and techniques used by each of The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, 38 Special and Atlanta Rhythm Section.
