America’s leading professional audio recording equipment and musical instruments retailer, today announced that, as of November 2003, it will be an authorized reseller of Apple’s entire line of products, including Emagic’s digital audio production tools. Beginning with Guitar Center’s new flagship store in New York City, recording professionals in music, post-production, and other pro audio sectors will have a one-stop shop for purchasing everything necessary to create the complete digital recording environment.

Guitar Center, with 120-plus stores across the U.S., is now authorized to carry, sell, and support the entire line of Apple products, from the wildly popular iPod, to the powerful Power Mac G5. Audio engineers, producers, recording artists, and musicians will have an entirely new channel to access the computing platform that has proven to be the premier choice for audio professionals globally.

Guitar Center held a press conference on Friday October 10th to announce they have become an authorized reseller of Apple’s entire line of products, including Emagic’s digital audio production tools. GC’s customers can now order an Apple computer configured to their individual requirements and tested prior to delivery.
