Posted 2003-12-29

Avalon Guitars, along with Fishman and J. D’Addario & Company, will host an evening with Jacques Stotzem and Eric Roche on Thursday, January 15th, 2004 at this year’s Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. The event will take place in the Ballroom of the Jolly Roger Hotel at 7:00 p.m. local time; the evening will be open to invited guests with tickets only. Avalon will be unveiling their new premier line of acoustic guitars, the Legacy Series, at the event, featuring performances on Avalon Legacy guitars by European virtuosos and Avalon endorsee artists Jacques Stotzem and Eric Roche.

“Last year’s party was a tremendous success,” said Steve McIlwrath, Managing Director of Avalon Guitars. “The 2003 occasion served as the launching pad for Avalon internationally, introducing our Jacques Stotzem Signature Model. We’ve since had remarkable success with these models and the original Gold Series range in the USA and Europe.”

This year’s event will include brief presentations by each of the sponsoring companies. Steve McIlwrath, Managing Director of Avalon will discuss the success of Avalon worldwide, and the launching of both the Legacy and Silver series lines of guitars. D’Addario & Co. President Jim D’Addario and Fishman CEO Larry Fishman will also be speaking.

Initially launched by the Lowden Guitar Company (UK), Avalon has quickly established its own identity worldwide. Avalon’s Gold Series was introduced in January 2002, a remarkably high-quality Acoustic guitar at a reasonable price, and received critical acclaim. The line continues to grow with the January 2004 launch of the Silver Series, an Avalon quality guitar at a mid-level price, and the Legacy Series, Avalon’s foremost line of premium acoustic guitars.

Tickets are limited and will only be available from the sponsoring companies. The Jolly Roger Hotel is located at 1831 South Harbour Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92082.
